In November 2009 the artists created “Fish Not Here”, which was widely exhibited by being absent from a number of small galleries in London. In December 2008, their second work “Bird Not Here” was briefly absent from the Tate Modern, and in the same year it did not appear in the Turner Prize nominations.

What about a “name that birdnothere” contest during podcastnothere?
I would be very interested in (not) displaying your conceptual art piece, Cat-Not-Here, in my gallery. The piece is a perfect for the gallery and we are very excited by the opportunity to partner with you.
The gallery, Gallery-Not-Here, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A. is of course conceptual and does not exist. We could (not) display your work in the month of March, but would not be able to (not) display it after that as we have lots of other works of art which we will not be displaying after that and space is extremely limited, as there is none.
I am uniquely qualified to display this art project in my gallery because I have no training in any sort of art whatever. However, my name is Art so that qualifies me by divine providence.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to partner with Gallery-Not-Here as we will have to arrange for transportation and storage of your work.
Sincerely,
Art Brakob, PhD. Esq. C.I.A. MI-5, LOL.
Owner and proprietor of Gallery-Not-Here
